This is a cute little roadside stop in the unassuming town of Escalon. Never stopped in this town for anything but gas in the past. It's a quick rest for those heading to or from the Sonora hills and surrounding areas. One of the gems is they're dog friendly, something that's a real crap-shoot when you've got your furry friends with you. The outside dining is a plus for this. I had the tuna melt and substituted grilled onions in place of the tomato which was a nice touch. The fries are the crinkle cut kind which i enjoy for their ability to grab more of whatever you dip your fries in. My wife had a chicken sandwich, loaded with fresh green lettuce (not iceberg), fresh jalapeños and onions. All served on a roll that held together well and had a nice crunch to it. We fed the puppers a couple tiny pieces of fries and a few licks of the free vanilla soft serve they offer. All in all, the food was decent roadside fare and the prices were very reasonable, especially in today's inflation and overpriced hellscape that dining out has become. We will definitely stop here again! Thanks to our server, Jill, who was awesome and took good care of us!

Great food, nice people. Met owner, Tony. Hard working guy. Give him your business. Burger was delicious and well dressed. Wait staff very friendly. Nice patio seating in front. Skip the chain places and support local businesses like this. Will be returning soon to try other menu items.

Service was good , food was good but the chili beans I got were baked beans ! I thought they supposed to be chili beans ?????? And onion rings were good.

My server Alys, the cook Ricardo, and cashier Emma made me and my fiancés day! We stoped in for a quick bite to eat for the first time and was met with some of the best customer service with a smile and one of the very best double bacon mouth watering cheeseburgers that I have ever tasted! Alys was on top of her game, made me feel like I was family! She manicured our table really well and made sure our drinks was always full and also made sure we had everything possible to enjoy our lunch! Emma was great also and made sure to let us know that she would love to see us back soon! 10+ stars for this awesome establishment in the heart of Escalon! Thanks for having employees like these 3 we can't wait to go back soon for some more tasty food and a nice home style friendly environment!

There's always a long wait in this drive-through but man is it worth it!!!! I will wait an hour for their food. It's absolutely worth it. They have the best food in the entire world and the best milkshakes you've ever had. This is a must try!!! 10 stars from us!!!

I finally made a point to stop at Hula's after years of driving this stretch of road and I'm glad I did! My friend and I both ordered the Escalon Burger and thought it was a good burger. The $2 pints of draft 805 were also a great way to end a big day. The staff were also really friendly and kind. All of our servers were excellent. And I thought it was really sweet when one of them asked if my dog could have bacon (I said yes!) and later returned with a bowl of water, a few strips of bacon, and some extra dog treats for her. The covered outdoor seating, with parts of it under a real roof, also makes this a good dog-friendly option even in rainy weather.

Are they the best burgers in my backyard? Yes! Most definitely yes! Then add their different fries, shakes and so many other food options and you can't go wrong here.

If you want a quick bit to eat as you go through town. This is the spot. Simple food at a good price. Inside is very sports oriented which is pretty cool. Customer service was quick and friendly. I got a very simple breakfast that hit the spot. Go give them a try

Food and service is amazing. Sit outside on the front patio listen to the fountain and music. My wife is vegan and loved the garden burger and I had the Tri- tip with mushrooms. It was flavorful and delicious. We will return soon. Our server put more water in the fountain and always made sure we were doing okay.
